That mountain might be a backdrop. I know it looks too big for that, but that's the magic of television! And Los Angeles does have mountains; the opening scene of M*A*S*H was shot on the Warner Bros lot. Most of the Bonanza "town" episodes were shot on a studio lot.

It's part of the western set at Paramount, which has been used to many series and was Virginia City on Bonanza. Here's another view where it isn't "snow covered":
