This is exciting and wonderful news. But, do we know this for sure? The last time he spoke about S12, 13, and 14 Andrew Kylde wasn't sure CBS Home Entertainment would return to the original prints. Has it now been confirmed that they will be?

Mr. Klyde would have to confirm it. The original 35mm negatives or the interpositives they were struck on have to be used for DVD. They are housed in the vault in the Fort Lee NJ facility. They can’t pull out broadcasting tapes because it will look totally inappropriate on DVD.

I don’t see what the big deal is CBS is crying about? The first 11 seasons were taken off of 35 mm prints to DVD. They should just get it over with and get the last three seasons out. It has taken them over 12 years to get this far with DVD releases which is totally absurd and ludicrous. As for Blu-ray, I rule it out completely. They have no interest in doing a Blu-ray release.

Rick
