Subject: The Last Challenge (1967)…
This excellent Glenn Ford film, made and released in 1967 by MGM is still a classic Western that holds up well today. No one seemed to have recognized bit actor Bruce Mars except me, years ago. He plays Randall, who bumps into Billy Turpin (John Milford) in the saloon and gets into trouble!! Cue the film up and just after the 3 minute mark, watch…and you will see…and hear Mars doing his scene!!!

What a great scene! I would never have recognized Bruce Mars, the actor who played Finnegan, Captain Kirk's nemesis in Star Trek's "Shore Leave" the previous year.

That’s him!!! I submitted the new and correct info on Mars to IMDB and they approved it.

Yep, I see they've added him to the list of "uncredited" cast members. Quite a few notable character actors on that list, including Eddie Little Sky, Len Lesser and Vaughn Taylor.
Some great performers in the credited cast as well, including Jack Elam, Royal Dano, Kevin Hagen, Robert Sorrells and Frank McGrath. And John Milford, although he is taken out early by Marshal Dan Blaine (Glenn Ford).
I generally enjoy Angie Dickinson in anything she does. I caught her in an episode of The Fugitive just the other day. She did more than her share of westerns, most notably Rio Bravo (1959) with John Wayne. I recently saw Sam Whiskey (1969) for the first time, with Burt Reynolds, Angie, and Clint Walker.
