Subject: 'The Dilemma'

I did not see a thread for yesterday's episode. The reason I was looking for one is because of all the Lost episodes that have aired on the Encore channel in the past two weeks this one has been my favorite. Lorne Greene does an excellent job playing the town's temporary judge. There was a strong message about how a criminal deed can have ramifications for an entire community. There were so many reverberations, so many cause-and-effect relationships being played out that it really held my attention. My only two minor complaints were that Ben should've told the men who selected him for the position that running a huge ranch does not allow for much extra time to study and devote oneself to the law; and I felt that there should've been at least one free-thinker in the town who agreed with Ben's courtroom decision.

Good story and cast. Nice change of pace for Lorne in his large role as Ben and in dealing with the law and Tully's character. Courtroom set looked good.

Agreed. Set design was excellent in this episode.
