The scene opens to the “Beyond The System” Training facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Crome can be seen lifting weights as Vixen stands over him watching. She makes a few marks on the clip board which she holds, then smiles and nods her head. Crome places the bar back onto the holding clasps, and sits up. He wipes sweat from his head as he begins to talk to vixen.
Crome: This is nothing anymore, I think its time to move up in weight.
Vixen: Not yet… give this a few more days then we’ll move it up. You know your training a lot harder than you did in EHW, I can see quite a bit of progress day by day.
Crome: I got a lot more to work for here. I was Crome of the EHW before… now I have to live up to the name I created for myself. By the way have you watched any CWA television as of late?
Vixen: Yeah Dahmer was on, him and blaze seem pretty confident.
Crome: I figured they would. I mean these guys really think I am some push over. HA! Dahmer better thank his lucky stars that his friend Mr. O’ Reily was there to back him up, whatever the hell that Irish Bastards name is.
Vixen: I thought he was Scottish?
Crome: Irish, Scottish, it doesn’t matter, all that matters is that me and Lance have got blaze and Dahmer this weekend. I don’t plan on letting Bad dreams get a tally in the win column this weekend. There is no way Beyond the System is going to fall behind these losers.
Vixen: Well you’ve been hand to hand with Dahmer… So you should know him a little bit, and you have been studing his tapes rather throughouly. So you should be ok when it comes to Dahmer, you can probably break his ass in half. The Question lies within Blaze, his is a man you have rarely seen.
Crome laughs and stands from the bench.
Crome: Blaze has been slowly decaying since he won that title a while back. Every week he seemed to be showing his weaknesses, and last weak he lost his title to Chris Thames. I have two theories on Blaze, First, he’s going to be angry about his title loss, even if he wants to hide it. And if he comes in angry, that means he’s not one hundred percent concentrated on the match. Of course my second theory is that he’s eating up Dahmer’s Bullshit, and that two will put him at a handicap. Dahmer seems to talk big for himself and small for others. Look at him, he claims there is no leader of Bad Dreams, but I think it’s a ploy for his power.
Vixen: Uh, huh. Well I think you better stop worrying about how they are going to react, and make sure your conditioned for the worst thing that could happen. Have you heard from Lance as of late?
Crome: No I haven’t seen him around at all. Funny Lance has been training a lot too, I’d figure him to be here more over the last few days.
Vixen puts the clipboard down and sits next to Crome.
Vixen: Last week you shocked the world with Ash joining you. You played that out well, allowing it to look like he was beating the hell out of you. This week you go in with momentum. Don’t forget Lance Beat two members of Bad Dreams last weak with the aid of Vin Moore, or whatever he is calling himself now.
Crome: Wow, I almost forgot about that, so I guess The System is already one up on Bad Dreams…. Ha. Dahmer can run his mouth all he wants. If I remember correctly he said if I won last week, he would give me a title shot, and already he seems to have forgot that. But in due time it will be inevitable, he will have to face me one on one… and until that time comes, I will be sure to knock his ass down no matter who he is sided with. The battles will be fought… However, no matter the outcomes of the petty battles between us and Bad Dreams… The Victor will the members of Beyond the System. And Dahmer… If your watching… Keep running your mouth little man. I didn’t forget that you placed your hands on Vixen last week, and that will prove to be the biggest mistake you ever make…. Oh! And one last thing, do you write your dialogue before you go out there and spit it? Cause its very original and interesting… you know referring to me and Lance as homosexuals? Very clever… I don’t believe that’s ever been done… referring to your opponents as gay to boost your ego?... HA! Whatever comforts you Dahmer… Sad thing is… There will be Bad Dreams… and that dream will be titled… Beyond the System…
Crome lies back down on the bench and grips the bar as vixen gets up grabbing the clipboard. The scene fades as Crome lifts the weight.
