Please pray for Michael Nett who is in a drug treatment center. He is experiencing many physical conditions, which require medical treatment. He has a low pain threshold and therefore endures to a point and then demands pain killers. Michael needs to sort out when he has legitimate need for medical narcotic pharmaceuticals or when his �addict� is actively seeking drugs. Denial at times is ruling all of this.
Spiritually Michael has not yielded his will over to Christ and when his addiction is calling he feels abandoned by God and begins to �erase� his dependence on Christ. Michael has self will that is scary. He is very strong willed and believes his intelligence provides him with total decision wisdom for life. Michael comes from wealth and abundant living. He is presently in poverty and has not understood yet that contentment and joy do not come from pleasure, work, possessions, and wealth. He needs to be freed from the pleasure of the flesh dominion. Michael cannot find contentment so he uses cocaine/crack IV to the poin! t of not merely seizures, but to unconsciousness for periods up to an hour. He is afraid, but I believe he will simply substitute addiction for/to other products and processes, unless He receives the lordship of Christ in his life. His drug using has brought him to the point of death numerous times in the past 2 months, and still the insanity of it goes on. I facilitate a recovery house and no other addict I have dealt with in 8 years are as complex and enslaved as Michael. God must touch him or he will die.
His psychiatric manic condition also increases when he uses which is intermittently even when he is in treatment, and no meds seem to level him.
I am burning out after almost 3 years. It is getting old and my faith that God is the answer at times seems weak. I too experience severe exhaustion and stress due to the maize of deceit that tangles Michael into this state of spiritual bondange to this demonic power of addiction. I need prayer support and wisdom, because I feel like sending Michael on his way, forever out of my face. Please pray against the dominion of demons in Michael as he evidences them frequently. They seem to have a right which needs to be disenfranchised.
We need a miracle of spiritual revelation from God. It seems like the way is too long. Please pray. Thanks, Helen
