Challenge for someone who has this ep on tape,or dvd.. somehow has their hands on it. Transcribe the memorable moments out to us so that we don't have to rely on on the script, which doesn't get into the text-
So way,,, WAY back then.. had you started to see C/A by the time this ep aired? Whether you wanted to or not? I know I did. And still do. Plus, naked Angel has GOT to be worth something;)
Biggest reason why this is one of my favorite episodes-- Cordy centric! And that says it all, most her eppies tend to be wonderfully written and well acted:)

I love this ep. Its centered aroung the gang. Not the average case per week ep. Eps like this make me wish for more naked Angel :)

Yes Naked Angel was definately one of this eps many pluses.
Loooved Cordy's entire rant when she moved herself right into Angel's place...does this girl ever stop for a breath? lol
"I'm a girl from the projects"
"Smell me. I smell. I didn't think I could"
"Your shower's in here right? do you have mousse? of course you do"...lol
A little foreshadowing possibly (or really reaching on my part) Did anybody else notice when Doyle asked Cordy if anyone had called looking for him recently she said "yes a cousin of your from your part of england (doyle mouths *england?*) I think he said his name was CONNOR" mmmmmm interesting name choice eh?
As far as A/C moments....I know I'm looking for them but hubby was watching Rm w/aV with me again today and his comment was and I quote "boy he's got it bad for her...he spoils her rotten" AH HA and this is coming from a man who is FORCED to what Angel with me and does NOT enjoy it....lol
His point was that it was obvious to him that Angel is very protective/possesive over Cordy and he can tell by Angel's *bodylanguage* OK is this a smart man I'm married to or what :o)
Notice when Doyle and Angel are trying to cleanse Cordy's apartment, they know they are failing and Angel insists on getting Cordy out of there because it's getting to dangerous, as they head for the door the goons after Doyle break in and who's arms does Cordy jump into?????? Well not Doyle's and she was standing facing him at the time. She had to turn to get herself behind Angel :o)
Ok maybe its time for Ben Gay again but this reaching is fun.....lol

Oooh good thoughts, and I don't think your reaching at all. Angel's the type that takes people under his wing, to help them fly so to speak, we've seen it time and time again. That he's capable of destroying people... and saving them. Cordy, Wes, even Gunn. They've all moved up a level or ten:) And we see in Room W/A Vu that Angel had taken her in and was now "His" to take care of.
I love these earlier eps so much, because there were always SPECIAL scenes between those two where their friendship was developing. And the writers put so many of those moments and times into the show that they HAD to be leaving that door open just in case ya know???
Well, I'm off to do yet more html'ing for fics.:)

Another one of my favorites. This eppy was great b/c it dealt with the gang. A little deviation from the MoW format. We got to learn a little about Doyle and see some major Cordy growth. Finally got to see her own up to her actions for her rich b!tch days.
Angel: “Punished. (Cordy nods) For what?”
Cordy: “I don’t know. For what I was? For everything I said in High School just because I could get away with it? - And then it all ended, and I had to pay. - Oh, but this apartment – I could be me again. Punishment over – welcome back to your life! Like, like I couldn’t be that awful if I get to have a place like that? - It’s just like you!”
Angel nods: “Working for redemption.”
All in all it was a great eppy with some good C/A stuff, wet semi-naked Angel always a plus. Loved the 'morning after' scene. DB looked really nice in the boxers and robe. CC looked really nice as well, loved her hair!
Great quotes:
Cordy: “You know what? I get it. You’re a ghost. You’re dead. Big accomplishment! Move on! - You see a light anywhere? Go towards it, okay? (Wind starts to blow paper scraps in Cordy’s face) Uh, cold wind, scary! What are you going to do? Chap me to death? What else have you got?”
That thing’s been doing that all morning. I think the - mantel is uneven.”
Doyle: “That thing lunged at me!”
Angel looking around: “What’s going on?”
Cordy: “Okay, you’re right. It’s not the mantel. It’s a very, *very* bad trophy.”
Cordy: “I am not giving up this apartment!”
Angel: “It’s haunted.”
Cordy: “It’s rent controlled!”
Doyle: “Cordy, it says ‘die’!”
Cordy: “Hey, maybe it’s not done. Maybe it’s ‘diet’. That’s friendly. A little judgmental, sure. (to Angel) I’m not giving it up. It’s perfect and beautiful. It’s so me. I need it!”
Angel trying to lead her out: “You don’t need this. It’s just a place. You’re more than that.”
Cordy: “How? How am I more then that?”
Cordy: “Back off! Polygrip. - You think *you’re* bad? Being all mean and haunty? Picking on poor pathetic Cordy? Well, get ready to haul your wrinkly translucent ass out of this place, because lady, the bitch is back.”

A good episode, mainly because it was the first Cordy ep. We see Cordy struggling with her LA life. I didn't really get the sense that Cordy felt bad about the way she acted in high school, more that she felt bad she was being punished for it. Losing her money, acting career going nowhere, living in a dump. All that stuff.
I was an A/Cer since before the series began, so once I saw the preview for this ep, I knew we'd get some wonderful A/C interaction, and we did.
I love the talk Angel has with Doyle about Cordy in the beginning. I was kind of surprised he knew so much about her. And I absolutely LOVE when Angel is yelling at her to fight Maude back. That was such an intense moment. "You're Cordelia Chase! Are you just gonna sit here like a weakling?! Get off your ass and get tough!"
A very enjoyable ep. Even though it introduced the houseguest that just won't leave.

When Angel and Doyle first discovered the place the haunted (the looks on their faces) and when Angel told Cordelia to get off her ass and fight back or something to that effect. I also noticed that he was very protective of her. Overall good ep.
