Well as you all know by now I didn't get to see A1 until recently when I got them on tape but I had HEARD about it...lol I was soooooo excited to see this out of all the S1 episodes that I almost didn't watch them in order until I got to it. I DID watch all of them straight through in the same day until I got to this one though....lol

And even though I'm a proud C/A shipper I really, really wanted to experience this awsome thing that was Buffy and Angel.
I couldn't stand her. When she shows up at the office she's haughty and snotty. When they are in the tunnels she's snippy and nasty then goes into her "I have a better life without you" speech....nice girl
As soon as Angel is human she's all lovey dovey because........and I see this clearly.....she's getting her WAY. And ummmmmmm what about that boyfriend back home? The one she was so hyped about that she had to shove him down Angel's throat? ohhhhhh forgot about him while Angel was "taking care of things".......nice girlfriend....lol
Then as soon as things start going NOT her way at the end when Angel made that decision to turn things back for the good of ALL and put his own needs last......she gets nasty and starts throwing insults again "what so you took like a whole 24 hrs of being a regular joe and you decided being a super hero was more fun".......nice girl

My heart broke in this one......for Angel
Buffy made her bed and she obviously doesn't care who's in it with her as long as things are going her way.

How's THAT for a rant? lol

I was never really into B/A, tto much angst for me and I don't really like the character of Buffy, but saying all that i do quite like this ep for the DB/Angel stuff: Angel discovering the joys of food, Angel getting all that food out of the fridge (don't you just wish he'd accidently drop it all!), the look on Angel's face when Buffy licks icecream off his chest. I just airbrush Buffy out in my mind, images to go to sleep by.mmmmm Angel
Irrating things in this ep, well Buffy mainly, all that self rightous anger and the whole trembling lip/tears thing at the end. I wish Angel had come back from seeing the Oracales and just got horizontal with her, I could never see the reason he had to tell her, she's never going to know after all.

Worst. Episode. Ever. Well, preeeeeetty close. I wish I had never watched this ep. I should've known better. I haven't even seen it since it originally aired.

I didn't like how self-absorbed Angel was. I know he's happy, he's human, he's got Buffy back, but he didn't give any thoughts to Cordy and Doyle (his friends), who were both visibley upset at the prospect of Angel leaving them high and dry.

I agree with yaby, that there really was no need for Angel to tell Buffy the Powers were turning back time. But then we would'nt have gotten SMG turning on the water works.

I disagree with the ending, too. Angel didn't give up his humanity for Buffy, he gave it up because he still wanted to help people. And after he got his butt kicked by that demon, he realized he couldn't and he didn't like it.

I just think this ep was pointless, and such a waste of time. Especially since there were no ramifications afterwards, except when Angel tells Doyle about it at the beginning of "Hero", and that's only to motivate Doyle into sacrificing himself later on. I can't believe B/Aers were upset/surprised at the ending. Um, of course Angel isn't staying human, of course he and Buffy aren't staying together. It sort of defeats the purpose of the show, doesn't it?

Only thing I liked, was Cordy being snippy towards Buffy.
