.
I thought the monster at the end needed a few more special effects though, he looked a little too fake for me, which rarely happens on either Angel or Buffy for me.
All in all a great ep, much humor and bonding...and we got the famous "Sex is bad" speech.

I love this eps, it's in my Top 10 list. Loved how Angel kept defending Cordy and her actions to Wes. Loved how concerned he was for her, tracking her down at home when she didn't show up.
Loved the way Angel kicked Warren Christopher's butt (he looked so hot during that scene). This was the first ep, Angel refered to Cordy as family. Loved the teaser when Angel's being all protective of Cordy trying to find out about her date. The look on Angel's face when Cordy drank the blood is a classic.
Best line in the ep:
Cordy: “I learned something, too. I learned, uhm, - men are evil? Oh, wait, - I knew that. I learned that LA is full of self-serving phonies. No, - had that one down, too. Uh... sex is bad?”
Angel with a smile: “We all knew that.”
Cordy: “Okay. I learned that I have two people I trust absolutely with my life. - And that part’s new.”
And Angel smiling and cracking jokes in this ep. Al in all one of my favs.

I loooooved the end scene. Especialy the looks on A & W's faces when Cordy is having them on about meeting this producer who was taking her out. You can just see that they want to lock her up in an ivory tower and never let her date again but they're trying really really hard to be supportive-friend-type-guys.

Yeah, I liked this ep too, even though I know a lot of Cordy fans had problems with it.
Looking back, I do wish the writers had spent more time on Cordy's feelings and thoughts throughout this ep, instead of making it about Angel's. I mean, it was scary for him because he might've lost Cordy for good, but she's the one who was 'raped', impregnated, then suffered a miscarriage. To end it all happy with "oh Cordy's strong and nothing breaks her" kind of ruins the ending for me a little. But, I did love the A/C scenes. And I thought it was kind of weird of her to 'trust' Wes so completely, since Angel doesn't officially hire him until "She". But maybe that's why? Foreshadowing?
But I liked it, and enjoyed it.

I've never been into reading transcripts before, but you guys make me want to read them all. If I can't *see* season 1, I'll at least re-live it in my imagination.

I loved the way Dennis tried so hard to warn Cordy off Christopher. They never did make it clear if it was because he knew there was something wrong, or just because he didn't want Cordy to get a little.
My personal favourite moment was Wes wanting to leave Cordy alone & Angel just breaking the lock and walking in to check on her.
