I've been using the earlier versions (known as Firebird but they changed it due to name conflict with the open source database project of the same name). I've currently got version 0.7 installed and have been very happy with it. I haven't upgraded to 0.8 (now named Firefox) yet because I don't want to have to start a new profile just now. The upgrade instructions always say to start with a new profile so if you see any bugs and want to report them you won't be confused by incompatibilities. But based on my experience through 0.7 I can recommend it completely.

However, if you want to take advantage of all of its flexibility, you may have to get down and geeky with some of the user. files in the chrome folder or the user.js file in the profile root. For example I hate blinking text and there is a way to turn it off but in order to do that I had to find the userContent.css file and make sure it had a line that said:
blink { text-decoration: none ! important; }

It is Java based so it tends to be slow to load and a bit of a memory hog. I have 256MB RAM here at home and 1GB on my work PC so that's not a huge problem for me. Also since I remember the days when Windows really didn't do a good job of multi-tasking, I hardly ever have a lot of programs sitting around open. (If my taskbar has no white space I get nervous.)
