We just had a case where an epidural was administered and the woman died from infection as the anaesthetist did not wash his filthy hands before the operation.

It took the woman a month to die in the most obscene pain imaginable.

Bear the pain and bear the child, they used to say in Ireland. But were they men or women who uttered that advice?
