It probably could have been a really good pageant if it was better run." on 16:03:08 02/23/11 Wed IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Return to Homepage It is with deep regret and heavy hearts that, after 8 wonderful years, we officially announce our resignation with the international Galaxy Pageants. This decision was by far a difficult one to make however, health, family and careers have each taken us on a different path. We have worked hard over the years to help bring a top quality event to Canada. We are proud of what we have accomplished over the years and are sad to let it go however, we must go on to other projects. The opportunity that Galaxy International gave us allowed us to meet wonderful ladies throughout our Country, learn the cultural diversity that our Country has to offer and will always be cherished. We have had the chance to work with beautiful young women, inside and out, on their quest to the international pageant. As for this year's titleholders: Mikaela (Teen) - Solange (Miss) - Brooke (Ms) - Kelly (Mrs) - they will continue their year as they have started with pride and represent Canada as the rightful Canadian representatives to the international Galaxy Pageants this coming summer. They have each worked really hard to make this the best year that they can and we will continue to support them until the end of August, when they would normally be crowning their successor. If you wish to have them at any of your events, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at canadagalaxy@gmail.com We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your continued support throughout the years. It has been our driving strength through the years. A special THANK YOU needs to go to our current and former titleholders, our wonderful staff and directors who have stood by us and made this event what it was. Without each of you, the venture of the past 8 years would not have been possible. You made it what it was and we sincerely hope that you will continue all the good work that you do and our paths may cross again some day. ALL obligations from the 2011 pageant that was held last August (2010) will be fulfilled. If you had signed up and sent your registration fees to us for August 2011, please contact us at canadagalaxy@gmail.com to discuss reimbursement. Note our new temporary address as our previous general email is no longer functional. If you wish to compete summer 2012 in the international Galaxy pageant, please contact the international office directly at galaxy@galaxypageants.com and they will be happy to guide you in the right direction until such time that a new director for Canada be appointed.
