Subject Author Date The dress is great...the headdress is an insult to Natives everywhere. Did they not recall the backlash from Shandi FInnisey or Kimberly Pressler???? Whether she is native or not women did not ever wear the headdress or warbonnet, it is a very ceremonial only worn by chiefs and warriors, sometimes women were chiefs but never wore the warbonnets. Why dont designers research before they design???? I think the dress is beautiful and does represent Haida artwork, but the warbonnet is too much, just too much...
