Subject: I know Jane personally and I can tell you that she is not a "crown chaser", she is a wonderful women and makes a great Canadian representative. To Island Pageant Fan: Your right there are many people out there, like myself, that catch what I call the "pageant bug". It's not about chasing down a crown it is about competing in pageants because you truly enjoy the experience and what the competition has to offer. There is nothing wrong with competing in multiple pageants. I look forward to cheering Jane on into her upcoming competition :)

In reply to: Island Pageant Fan 's message, "I don't think it is unprofessional for Jane to drop out of a pageant that has been delayed several times, cancelled one year, and has no definite, determined date in sight for another pageant that has a certain date and is going ahead this year for sure! I don' think the term "crown chaser" applies here. I have never met Jane, so maybe I am wrong, but it sounds to me that she enjoys pageants and wants to represent Canada in one of the few Mrs. events that are out there! I think the term "crown chaser" is too often misused, most girls who are repeat offenders are actually just "pageant high" chasers, wanting to compete for the thrill of the competition and the fun of preparing for and competing in the event! Most know they are never going to win the crown, that's not why they are there in most cases (maybe I am just speaking of my own experience, lol). Of course, this is all just my opinion based on the limited info here! :)" on 13:32:46 03/02/11 Wed
