I agree. Nobody has said that Lena isn't a GREAT representative to Miss World. she is refreshing and fully capable of capturing a crown. In person, she's even nicer and kinder than you'd think. But when the rest of the top 10 and top 5 seems like they were pulled out of a hat. I know a lot of the MWC girls had hints that she was going to win really early on, and moreso when it came to prelims and finals. -- Canadian Pageant Fans' HQ

I have competed at two pageants (yes i have donw mwc) and i think it feels like it's fixed because there are some girls that you know are goign to win. Look I'm not saying the organizers don't have favorites or even seem to get along with other girls better. But I can honestly say that with one exception the top 5 and top 10 in my year at MWC we spot on. I had it pegged from day one who would be there and actually the winner was a girl I didn't think would win it ( i thought she'd place highly) but she did excewptionally well in evening gown. I think girls show up thinking they have a chance and they see girls who are better prepared and girls who understand the politics and who's butt you have to kiss and all of a sudden it's predetermined.....just my humble opinion.....oh Except MUC.....that one's totally fixed...hahahaha (NT) .....j 08:53:18 03/26/09 Thu
