actually christi i wrote u and asked sylvia so this would not happen and it was annouced in the media prior and booked way before even MUC annouced thier pageant. I asked you and MCG because I think it is stupid to have 2 pageants running around the same time. And they sometimes call my pageant the national or international verse the regional I have had no issue with any articles out of the 40+ we have had most even get the - in it Yes they will say Miss Teen Canada sometimes in the heading but world shows up somewhere. I know they make mistakes but again when you have the same date it is confusing which is why I asked everyone so we could both have a successful pageant and not flood the city with pageant girls u know I did not follow MCI -- Canadian Pageant Fans' HQ

Did you announce your date last august when MCI picked thiers? Michelle, MCI's date was chosen before you even started MTCW, again no conspiracy. We coonsidered changing our date after you announced yours but a lot of our materials were printed, people had already booked time off of work (a lot of the volunteers use thier annual vacation time to come to MCI to volunteer). We decided against it due to the cost and inconvenience to our people. Again, no conspiracy, coincidence. The goal was to get it out of August for a number of reasons, other events was just part of it. MCI will decide the dates for next year's pageant at this years pageant, just like they did last year, before the crowning, while all the volunteers and board members are together, they won't announce it until they are ready though, but I can assure you the date selection has nothing to do with you. I am certain MCI would like to avoid the confusion just the same as you but at this point it is what it is. (NT) Christi 10:32:31 05/23/09 Sat
