    My point was that it depends on the girl. Some 18 year olds have the poise and maturity of older girls -- and some older girls act like immature brats (Tara Conner from USA 2006). I don't think you can generalize. As for Vanessa, she's probably pursuing more substantive things right now. And look at the "older girls" who represented Canada the last 2 years. They didn't place.
