Subject: I do agree. There is a difference when it comes to taking nude pictures to be more editorial than ... well, you know what. Not because a model's top is off doesn't make them a poor role model for girls around the world. It's 2008--it's about time women became more empowered with what they can do with their bodies as long as it fosters self-respect and free will. (And world peace. Men can appear topless all the time (of course), show their butts, etc (e.g., Mario Lopez on NIP/TUCK), and everyone's all hot and bothered. But when a female model or celeb shows her breasts, then she's a harlot. For me, it really is all about the intent behind the image as opposed to what body part was shown.
