Subject Author Date I think this is one of the classic "pageant bug" examples. And we all know who has caught the bug when we see them go for every national competition, or keep trying to go, even though it takes up so much time and money. If you can afford the time and the money to do it, and they'll take you, then why not? It just doesn't look good to outsiders who see the same 5-10 girls always in every single pageant until they get married or too old!
