actually... back when I competed the director and other 'industry insiders' kept saying the same thing. to NOT compete multiple times. frankly, i wish I had NOT listened. I had def. caught the bug but was discouraged in competing more then once.
in the Miss USA pageant girls compete BEYOND multiple times!!! I could go on and on about how many girls kept at it until they won State Titles....
I also know a few girls who BECAUSE of their drive and constant spot at the competitions ended up with some valuable networking and went on to experience other jobs, events, contacts - even future spouses.
I think regardless of how many times you compete - go for it! I think it shows ambition and drive.
