Subject: The only aspect of competing many times that is bad is People know you and start to talk and it is embarrassing. Also it sucks when the judges already know your answer because they have judged you before or when judges say they went with another girl to have a fresh face. The reality is you usually have to compete more then once to win. What really sucks if when you re compete, know you are at your best ever and you do worse ( not make top 10) LOL that happened to me so embarrassing it was pathetic, I also think it is none of anyone business how many times a girl enters click in

In reply to: Patricia 's message, "Who from BC and AB is competing? Any previous contenders?" on 10:10:36 02/28/09 Sat

MUC had a audition in Alberta and they picked a handful of girls many did not make it. So MUC picked Lisa, there must be something there. I can look at photos and say why is half of the girls in MUC or MWC even bothering, they are all just average girls, not thin enough not tall enough, just not pretty enough. Some actually are delusional and believe they can win - it is like the 5'4 girl 124lbs that thinks she can be a Runway fashion model - if just pays the 2000 model course and then gets discovered. Not going to happen. Every industry has standards, and criteria but there is no rule that says you can not apply, you can get a modeling portfolio but you will never be in a Prada fashion show. Having the "Miss Canada" experience is amazing as well. Sometimes you have to try a few times to get what you want - You have to go on many auditions before you get the part - or many job interviews, or apply to many schools. Just because you did not get it the first time should not stop you. And honestly everyone complaining about one contestant I ask you why are you so concerned about someone "YOU" know will not win. Who really cares let the girls have fun. I know I questioned should I enter again.... but I asked myself why would I not. All that can happen is I don't win, but at least if I entered there is the chance that I might. If I did not enter well there no chance of anything.

yes and in every pageant you always learn something new. you think about ways you can improve, by watching old videos of yourself, and you say wow i cant i said that or wore that. there is always room for improvement. but i don't think MUC is that type of pageant. you either got it, or you don't.
