VietNamNet Bridge – Miss Earth 2007 Jessica Nicole Trisko (Canadian) and Miss Singapore, Miss Philippines will present gifts to Vietnamese orphans on the occasion of the Mid-autumn Festival.



These beauty queens will come to Vietnam to participate in the 4th International Travel Exhibition – HCM City 2008 (ITE – HCMC 2008) from September 12-14 at the Phu Tho Sports House in HCM City and will also participate in other activities to advertise ecological tourism, call for environmental protection and do charity activities.



In October 2007, Miss Earth 2006 Hil Yesenia Hernandez Escobar (Chile) and some contestants of Miss Earth 2006 pageant – Miss Water Catherine Untalan (Philippines) and Miss Singapore Nocole Chen were invited to take part in the ITE – HCM City 2007.



One of the most outstanding activities of these beauty queens was calling for Vietnamese people to wear helmets by wearing helmets and riding on motorbikes on HCM City’s streets.



La Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the HCM City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, vice chief of the organising board of ITE – HCM City 2008, said this year’s exhibition is the largest since 2005.
