Subject: yes journaists make mistakes, but my point is that it is not just the journalists who make the misrepresentation. The globe pageant has been represented by its own organizers to delegates and sponsors as the pageant who is ssupporting the teddy bears of hope, they have also used MCI's scholarship information in the past, etc. Instead of resting on thier own laurels they are constantly using other pageants credits (including miss universe, whiich I have seen marketing marterials with my own eyes). Nothing about this pageant is up and up, it is shady to say the least and I am interested in hearing more from the delegate who had her post removed regarding her experience. And anyone else who has something to add. I also have a verry interesting news article somewhere around here about the pageant and organizers that I read last year when another pageant in the USA was ready to sue them for lying about holding one of thier titles. Subject Author Date I was at the pageant on Sunday in the audience. It was too long, very unorganized, and extremely boring. I was not impressed. And that's just my personal opinion. Genesis Multimedia is the videographer of MCG, which is not connected to MUC, they are a seperate company, that are used by MCG and MUC. Nobody stole anything,and never I heard MCG using Teddy Bears of Hope Campaing! At least MCG pays their scholarship to their ambassador and pay the cash prizes they promised to their winners! I think you should stop being a bully, and mind your own business with MCI! There is no need for bashing other pageant, MCG has never bashed you or MCI, so please QUIT IT, and act like a grown adult. (NT) MCPcontestant-2008 01:41:30 08/30/08 Sat In regards to MCG/MCP, I am an out of Ontario delegate, when I came to the hotel for the 3 days of training, it was pretty slow at start, as the pageant week continues, the week got better because the Ontario girls came in. MCG organizer went out of her way to make sure we are all taken care of, from meals, transportation, and everything on the kit was delivered as promised. People who have nothing to do, just find things to make other people look bad for their own benefit. I know who had posted that post, and that person regrets what she posted as she concluded the situation early, but she in end has enjoyed the experience and has thanked the organizer and the staff for everything they have done to all of us delegates. (NT) -- MCPcontestant-2008, 02:00:29 08/30/08 Sat I for one was uncertain in the beginning, but I must say that this experience I had at the end was something I will never forget, $2,500 was worth it, and I will never regret joining MCG pageant systems, which is one of the fairest pageant I have been to so far. I enjoyed my experience at MCG, that I decided to stay here in Toronto for another few weeks, and MCG organizer and staff still contacts me to make sure I am okay here in Toronto. Knowing that the pageant is over, and that their responsibilities towards me is finished, they still are looking after my well being, is something that I can say that they really care about the girls, which other pageants fail to do.
