Subject: My heart went out to her - it's as if there's a curse on Miss USA. I think that if Crystle got into the top 5, she could have taken it. Venezuela was second all night, but her answer was better than Colombia's. Crystle is a motivational speaker, so I think she would have done really well in the interview. What I don't understand, is why Mexico (my favorite of the top 5) placed 4th runner up. She was much prettier than Colombia and Russia. And don't even get me started on DR. I have no clue how that girl made the semis, let alone top 5. She was not pretty. Subject Author Date Yeah, I felt terrible for Miss USA as well.. But I refuse to buy into the USA media's excuse of a curse. Rachel tripped and still made top 5. And as much as I normally would agree w/ you regarding final question, I truly don't think it would have helped Crystle win. Even if her answer was fantastic. B/c although Venezuela's answer was better than Columbia's, Venezuela actually didn't answer the question asked of her, and she still won. The judges picked the winner they wanted..
