Following a well-built road out from the village at Nithgrove River, you find yourself surrounded by rich farmland, cropped to provide the manor and surrounds with more than they could ever need. Trees line the road, sometimes too thick to see beyond, other times barely blocking your vision, welcome relief from sunlight for travellers on foot. As you move onwards, the road begins to slope upward, and the fields of grain change to fields filled by livestock, sheep, cattle, and horses as you move nearer the manor. Emerging from the tree-lined road, you are greeted by a scene of two burly guardsmen, who wave you through, into the manor grounds themselves.

The road splits in two, one leading away to the left, skirting around the lush lawns and gardens, hidden by a deftly designed garden of shrubs and trees, which overhang the path, creating a quiet 'tunnel' to the stables and servants areas. Those seeking employment, or delivering goods travel this path.

The other leads directly to the main entrance of the manor itself, a magnificent three-level structure of bluestone. the gardens and small mazes dot the landscape, beautifully designed and manicured, and often the playground of the children of the workers, or others wishing to take a stroll. The main entrance is used primarily by visiting nobles or the baroness herself, or perhaps some wealthy merchants and other dignitaries, though others here to seek an audience with the Baroness often use it as well.
