Please come out of lurkdom anytime. :) I can't remember if, in the canon of the show, that Slayers were created to combat vampires, but it would make sense.

I've actually had a scenario playing in my mind where Spike is standing before Buffy when she opens the door, and it's daylight. And that's the way the season ends. ;)
