OK, it's been said that whomever it was, "made" the first Slayer. What if.. the slayer was made from a male vampire, to start the line? A mirror image or like how Xander was split into two. A slayer can "sense" vamps, and as we saw in School Hard, Spike could sense Buffy. They are drawn to each other like Willow said in The Replacement, "Their natural state is to be together" and the spell was doing the work keeping them apart. What if the "spell" is the black/white teachings that *all* vamps (& demon) are eeevil. And such an aliance might tend to make "teenage" slayers a tad less easy to control, as well as less focused. We saw in ITW that not *all* are murderous and eeevil, if they were, then they wouldn't need to be vamp-ho'ing, they'd just kill, and not get paid to feed.
Can't go letting it be known that there would be a possibility of a hybrid of some sort if there was a vamp/slayer *mating*...or, that there could be a male slayer at some point.
Anyway...just odd thoughts now and again, I guess LOL
