Subject: antique (100 years) 14K pocket watch

 A reputable jeweler in Altoona, Pa. is trying to tell me that the head of an elk and BPOE above its head and the name of my grandfather and Altoona, Pa., was not put on the face of the watch by the Elgin Watch Co. Above the elk head is the number 102. Can anyone give me information that it was done by the company, probably as a commemorative to the opening of the elgin watch company. i would be very appreciative of your help.
