I am very ignorant when it comes to all pocket watches, but I inherited an old Elgin from my grandfather years ago and have since bought a couple of Elgins on Ebay. I would like to learn more about Elgin Watches.
I get the impression that a B.W. Raymond is a more valuable (desirable) watch than a G.M. Wheeler. Is this correct? I have seen them both sell on Ebay. If I'm trying to start a collection would you seek to purchase a B.W. RAymond or a G.M. Wheeler? Thanks.
