You already know a lot about what you have. The data refers to the type of movement (the "guts" of the watch). You could usually get a lot of different styles for the dial and hands - think of it like getting a car in different colors or interior trims. If you look elsewhere on the Elgin site, you'll find one of the old material catalogs which lists lots of different dials that Elgin made for their watches.
