I have looked in the Elgin database at elginwatches.org and this clock grade seems to have the name FAR (=Farwell?) associated with it. This made me wonder a bit. The watch does indeed have "National Watch Co." in friendly letters on the face. It does, however, have the name "Elgin" on the movement though. The names/grades are delightfully confusing for a novice like myself.
