Subject: Badminton?

Congratulations Cole for coming first in his division at his latest BADMINTON tournament. Yes...that's right. They actually have tournaments for those in Canadian high schools. Man...they'll do anything for a day off class over here. Anyway....we're very proud of Cole. He's been a busy little bee. Aside from his school basketball team that JUST finished..he also plays in a mens rec league basketball and volunteers his time helping at the grade school basketball tournaments and also for the towns 10-13 year old basketball league, and volunteering for the old-timers hockey tournament...whew. He's doing fairly well in school. English..which is normally his worst subject is interestingly his highest mark in the 90's. The English teacher just happens to play on Cole's mens rec league team...hmmmmm. His French mark isn't the greatest but its passing. The rest are all around the 70 or 80 mark. The most irresponsible thing he did this year was throw snowballs...ok...well it was at cars but he was suitably chastised. It's just this week that we've allowed him back to eating 3 square meals a week, lol.
Jesse is doing a little better. We're having a problem keeping weight on him becuase he forgets to eat, and he can't eat anything in the morning..sight or smell of food makes him gag...the rest of the time if he just plain forgets. He's lost almost 30 lbs and he wasn't that big to start with. He also has to do a sleep study for his sleep apnea and possible absence seizures. Matt is still in school...as long as he passes everything he'll graduate this year. Mason is also doing well. He graduates grade 8 this year. His class is going to Quebec for their class trip...they give us 4 to vote on and the cheapest one is 400.00 a student and we have to pay half of it....I don't know why they do that. What's wrong with a one day trip to wonderland for 50 bucks? Bloodsucking, money hungry school system...well...we're obviously alive..what about all you guys
