We have been stuck in the middle of a time warp here...it's either raining or snowing, and quite frankly I'm getting pretty darn tired of both. You're renovating your kitchen. I am soooooo jealous. Our kitchen sucks....I hate it I hate it I hate it...you know the type..the 1810 plastic cupboards that stop halfway across the room for no apparent reason with a countertop that defies description it is so ugly and a parquet floor that needs refinishing....I hate that room..Oh well..I figure in about 2007 we'll be able to get a decent kitchen..until then we've been trying to get ready for spring. We were going to clean the windows but it appears that they no longer open or close. These are our emergency exits so I'm thinking that's not good..unfortunately its not on the repair list for this year and hey..that's what chairs are for anyway aren't they? To throw through windows?
So far we have regrouted and recaulked the tile tub enclosure (also 1810) and painted the bathroom and ugly ass kitchen. We REALLY want to work on our garden. I have so far managed to kill every plant that was there before we moved in so I have to find idiot proof plants now, and I need a new clothes line. I also have to work on the boxes along the driveway so I have to reseach plants that won't be killed by the winter salt in the ground..heavy salt content next to the driveway.
Cole's involved in track and field..he's a busy little guy. Mason has 2 paper routes now, which is good as his class trip is to Quebec and he'll be able to pay for his own way, and Bruce will be able to go that way..I'll feel safer with him 12 hours away with Bruce there. Matt is working at the golden arches and still in school..he may be there until he's 50 but he's still there. Jesse is handing out resumes..he's also in a local ball hockey league and according to his nuerologist the new worker is helping a great deal.....I reserve judgement on that one...but I will say he attends his classes, does his work and is passing. His home instruction courses are all above 85%.
