Loiosh casually floats from the sky and lands on Liam's shoulder in no hurry at all.

*I'd do nothing of the sort, Boss.* Liam rolls his eyes, just as Diamond strolls in with a wad of grass in his chompers and nuzzles Liam in the ribs. He scratches behind his ears. "And where have you been?? Off racing Flame I suppose... and gorging yourself. Watch your weight, my boy, you don't want yourself looking like your mother when she had you." Diamond bumped him a good one on the rear at his comment and sat on his haunches to resume his chewing.
"Well thanks for joining us anyhow." Liam said, rubbing his sore backside. "This draggonette was found with no family, and now she's here in our care. I think we just named her Aurora..." His two familiars stared at him a little, knowing well of his past.
But just then the orphan toddled over to Liam and snuggled lovingly at his feet. He responded instinctively and grabbed the blanket from Diamond's back, wrapped Aurora in it and cradled her in his arms. She was a big baby, but a child nonetheless. Without trying, Liam felt the strong connection already, a little nervous at what to expect form all this that happened so suddenly.
~My binding with Loiosh was so agonizing I almost died. He literally ripped a part of my soul out of me. His old master was killed, leaving him almost lifeless, so when I happened to walk into the room he crawled over and bit my ankle, thus beginning the binding process which rendered me unconcious for three days. It was Loiosh's only chance of surviving... Not really my fondest of memories, though.~
Liam looked up at Ember "Are you quite sure this is what you think it is, Ember? He turns again to the little dragon, smiling at her warmly; she was already asleep. Why did he like her so much all of a sudden? "I'm a little confused... what happens now?"
