[.ivory wings spread and beat once, the pale bronc lifted quietly and swiftly into the air. he hovered momentarily ... waiting ... long, silken tail sweeping gently across taut hing 'quarters. carven head was tossed upwards, lacey mane scattered above the supple neck, and a ear-splitting cry poured from finely tuned vocals. joy and triumph still etched along his powerfully built figure.

[.sable nymph 'fluffs' her wings and shifts until the girl sat just at the base of her neck. hang on tight and i'll to something you'll like. the supple neck arched then uncurled rapidly. a shrill scream ecoed from the petite damsel - joy and triumph was with her too. abruptly the feathered wings beat and they were in the air. wings folded towards her sides, she shot like an arrow, straight up and true. silken tail flagged like a banner and the dark mane whipped back into Arielle's face. the wind buffeted the pair and she shot farther up and up, into the deep clouds. faster and faster she flew true - she called back, her voice a mere whisper to the girl's ears. tell me when you need me to stop. and with a powerful thrust of her hind 'quarters she shot faster.

[.pale huen stallyon soared up and after his mate. rapidly he flew by her side and cried another scream of happiness.

[.sable and ivory tossed the carven head and shot directly after his parents. he settled between them, yet behind them. for he was prince and it was his rightful place - behind the king and queen.
