Yes, me too. I just got through watching almost all of the anime (well, I've stopped at 39 for now. I'm not sure I want to continue knowing the real story won't progress much further.) It drove me crazy the way they concentrated so much on the story of Taiki and then just suddenly leave it, never even hinting to us why the kingdom of Tai was left without an emporer and Taiki was back in Japan with no memories of his life as a Kirin. I'm desperately waiting to see the end of this book to see how Youko helps Taiki and Tai.
