My son and I just started racing this year. We are both rookies at this. I just wanted to know if 2 cars go into a turn and they slide up the track does the inside car have to let off or the outside car? Or do either car have that option? The reason I am asking is because last week (September 24, 2005)this happened. After the race was over the car on top of the track waited until the other car started off the track and then hit him in the rear end at top speed causing him to spin out of the off ramp endangering both the driver and his car! This man that hit us is this year's points leader in the rookie class at HCRW. You would thnk a man with 10 or 15 years experience would have changed classes if he does not want to run with rookies. If this is the conduct of a champion, I am not sure we want to be one. I am not concerned about the the car, but my son who was driving that I am concerned about. There should be zero tolerance fof this unsportsman like conduct. Ths was a low down, underhanded behavior. This driver should be removed from the track before his temper get someone HURT BAD! Next time it might be your son or daughter! Waiting to hear from track officials.
