The Times We Shared

It was a natural feeling
Having moments to fill
We have never met
Perhaps we never will

We talk about dreams
Beneath silver moons
Wrote caring notes
Shared favourite tunes

We crossed the world
Yet distanced by sea
Opening our hearts
Given a friendship key

Sharing our friendship
Always found the time
The letters we wrote
We would lovingly sign

How close we became
Friends year after year
The times we shared
I shall always hold dear
