I Have Not Been Told Why

It happened through silence
No words were spoken
The special bond we shared
Seemed to be broken

Silence they have remained
As months passed by
Its strange how it happened
I have not been told why

I know somewhere out there
Was the person I knew
Their reasons for being silent
I would not have a clue

It continued being a mystery
As silence was ongoing
Will they break their silence
I had no way of knowing
