Subject: This is an oldie..... maybe it will freshen some memories.

TIMEWALKER


Our visits are rare
So when you see us, please don't stare.
If you to look, you would not see.
Yet besides you we could be
Often unseen.
We seldom intervene.

You will see us when there is a need.
Our words are few so take heed.
We don't come looking to gain.
You'll only see us if there's one to train.
What better way to watch than to blend
As we seek injustice to end.

We watch and we look
And carry a huge, huge book.
We seek to record history
So others may learn its mystery.
You won't come out last
By learning from your past.

You may see me walk through a door.
You look up and its there no more.
You scratch your head
And wonder where that door lead.
If you're not chosen to walk the halls of time,
You may be lost in this rhyme.

If you are one you will know
Exactly where I did go.
If in time you belong
One day we may ask you to come along.
Do not fret.
Our duties we will not forget.

Only when the time is right
Will you see us without True Sight.
A presence at times you may feel
To remind you we are very real.
I am destined to walk through time
And live life like a mime.
