*Something I came across while rummaging through all my old writings...*

Words I read, penetrate my heart,
An imprint left with love,
I patiently await to hear words spoken,
With a genteel courtesy,
A gentleman he is, a true cowboy,
Only obstacles and distance stand in our way,
But I still love him with every breath I take,
I miss him so and worry when he travels,
I pray for him to stay safe,
Looking forward toward his next words,
I dream of lying beside him in a loving embrace,
Kissing him gently and speaking of hearts truth,
I await for the day we are together,
Whether it be in this lifetime or the next,
I love him dearly and know he loves me,
For you see I found my true cowboy,
He is my love, my desire, my Texan.
