Dear God,

Please Lord may I borrow one of your angels tonight
For you see Lord I never got to say goodbye
She was the best friend I ever had
And I miss her so much but could never wish her back
For the pain she endured was beyond human means
But she fought hard Lord to understand the why me's
Many emotions went through her frail body
And I was with her as much as I possibly could
But in the last month of her life here on earth
I wasn't even able to even talk to her
She was dying inside so afraid and alone
For she wanted to believe that heaven would be her home
She felt unworthy of the Father's love
But I know Lord that she is in your house
Watching over her loved ones that she left behind
But it would give me closure if I could see her face
And know that she has found eternal peace.
She now can fly and no longer in pain
Please let me feel the flutter of her angel wings.

It's hard to beleive it has been 3 years tomorrow since she left us.
It feels like yesterday and I miss her so. She made a great impact
on my life.I wish the Meadow was more active my friend but I can never
fill your shoes.You had a special gift and a heart filled with so much
love and generosity.Never selfish and even in your pain you always
made it to the Meadow to read your Meadowlarks prose. You started
earning your wings here on earth and now you truly can fly. We will be
together again soon my friend, thank you for what you have given my life.
I love you my friend Joyce.
