Blue Sets The Tone

Its those hollow notes
My lonely heart sings
Emptiness is echoing
Upon broken wings

On paths to nowhere
Where nothing flows
Into depths of despair
My heartache grows

My melancholy heart
Writing wistfully blue
It is times such as this
I felt lost without you

While silent tears fall
None will be shown
I tried to cling to hope
Yet blue set the tone
