I would have to be patient
Do the best I can
Step by step progression
My writing began

Baring my heart and soul
Written with a tear
I was wanting to conquer
My unworthy fear

It was never an easy task
Removing doubt
As emotions spilled forth
Poems came out

From my pen to the keys
I made progress
Emotions out in the open
Freely I express
