Joyce, I feel your presence in my heart everyday dear friend. I miss you so but find comfort in knowing you are watching over us.



Time Could Not Erase

Beneath the lofty Sycamore
which was their favorite place,
She stood alone with quivered lips
upon her grieving face.

Crevices that came with age
from laughter, joys and cheers,
So deeply grooved the wrinkles were,
now filled with mourning tears.

Yet, with her trembling finger,
she then began to trace,
Initials once carved long ago
that time could not erase.

But, suddenly the winds blew warmth
against her teary face.
She felt the spirit of his soul,
and her heart began to race.

Then she heard his gentle whispers
gliding soft and free,
Riding on caressing breezes
all around the tree.

"Smile for me my darling dear..
..and feel my warm embrace,
For I am with you always dear..
..I Love You....darling Grace!"
