Only Another Stage

It was only my birthday
Happens each year
I am not counting mine
Whenever they appear

Birthdays come and go
Matters not my age
As another year turns
It is only another stage

I am not over the hill yet
Onwards I progress
Being older by a year
Age you have to guess

I will stay young at heart
Its the only way to be
I will age like fine wine
It is sweeter in maturity
