Upon the midnight hour
The fireworks light the sky
We join in celebrations
To the old we say goodbye

Giving toast to the future
Where the new shall unfold
Lets take time to reflect
In saying farewell to the old

Whilst ringing in the new
On the last day of December
Thoughts will be with you
Each friend I shall remember

The counting down begins
As the year comes to the end
I take this time to thank you
Heart to heart, friend to friend
