The Rythm

Born way back on the Afican plains
Syncopated Seasons ending in dark rains
In Early music its life had begun
Toil on the heat and light of the sun
It was first heard in the beat of the drum
The story of Rythm had only just begun.

In sadness of man and celebration a few
The Drum and the stone a hollow branch too
Crude stringed instruments by talented hands
Along came the Keyboard and then the baby grand
The Metal shapes formed into sound
Even the Jungles gave up their sounds

Voices in acpella created a seed
Sounds of all kinds even rivers gave reeds
O what a glorious rythm now abounds
Feel the tremble of the dancing of sounds
Through the Rythm of life all music was found
Mans deep love of Music will always be around

Today in Niteclubs and Basements we all come to hear
We dance and we sing , our favorite bands cheer
The moshpit, the crowdsurf, The monkey the Jerk
With all of these dances the rythm does work
Downtown at Sunset, Breakfast at Dawn
Sometimes its blues and sometimes its rock
The rythm goes on like a beat of the clock.
