You wander into the desolated looking terrain you glance around at the tall cliffs that surround it the cliffs are the only proof of the once huge waterfall that fell here. In it�s time it was the largest one in the world bypassing even Niagara. Now all that was left was a look into the past� a dried up cliff with a lake at the bottom living up to it�s name Dry Falls. Around the lake a few shrubs and grasses sprout up in their desperate attempt at life. As you walk farther in the heat is unbearable and you wonder how the few that live hr survive. The cliffs are tall and uneven and extremely treacherous, some about to give way under their own weight and strain to stay up as others are just waiting for a wrong step. The rocks when wet are extremity slippery and one must move with caution or they will slip and fall to a painful but instant death. The water is shallow and often used more as a relief then a drinking source. As you take a step farther the air around you thickens and is extremely humid and has a strong stench of death. This is an ever-changing land and death never disappoints but life never surrenders. You snort as you see horses sluggishly picking at the plants. It�s is twilight before sunrise and the slightest hint of light began to peak through the strong clouds as the herd slowly lifted there head looking at the highest peek, at the top stands a graceful, but deadly beauty her strawberry roan pelt shines in the pale moonlight as she stands watching over her herd. A strong wailing wind blows by lifting her mane her forelock falls over her stormy gray eyes. She rears up pawing the air not happy about another stranger in her herd she snorts and turns her tail blowing in the wind she takes off hoofs making a sound close to thunder on the hard gravel floor then she is gone. You wonder who she was she was mysterious and seemed to put fear in the horses that surrounded you. Suddenly the sound of thundering hoof cuts through the silence again as the roan canters in to view splashing through the water soaking her sweaty pelt cooling her self from the smoldering heat. Her forelock sticks itself to her face as her pelt already begins to dry she snaps her long tail soaking you with the accesses water a relief from the ever so agonizing heat. �Welcome to Dry Peaks. I�m Devil�s Tempest Lead Mare of this TT if you wish to stay you will have to get permission from me. I have no lead stallion� that position will go to the one I find fit don�t ask me.
