Subject: planning for summer Author: tim [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:20:07 11/15/03 Sat call it a trial balloon, or a litmus test, or whatever; I just thought since it's winter now in Vermont that we should start thinking about summer plans. Kathy and I saw Janice the other night at her "Social Band" concert in Montpelier (nice of you to come and sing for us Janice). She said she was hoping to drum up interest to rent the pavilion at Cliffside again this summer. It would be nice to hear from folks on if there was any interest and if so, when such an event should take place. last year we scheduled it around brina and ken's families and trips to vermont. We did it the second Saturday in August, i think? Not sure if the shelter would be available that weekend, or what it coincides with, but we have to start somewhere. This year, we'll be making our Vermont trip a bit earlier and returning to Minnesota a bit earlier than last, meaning that if you have it the second weekend in August, I'll already be back here in the midwest. But don't plan it around me, by all means, just wanted to let you know that. I expect to be in Vermont from about the second week of July to around August 7th, if all the pieces fall into place. Still can't seem to get myself registered and "valid" over at boysweekend.com. I jokingly tell myself you don't want girls posting there! Wish I'd been there to hear you guys jamming this week..."Under My Thumb"! fun! Are you actually collecting monies for this summer? let me know...or count me in... [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
